Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is offering a $100/month subsidy for you to use towards micromobility commuting and meals. We are proud to provide these benefits to you, and look forward to serving you and helping you live a healthier life.

How it Works:

After enrolling, you will receive a prepaid card that will be funded $100 per month on the 20th of every month.
Any unused funds will roll over to the next month.
Your funds can be used interchangeably between micromobility and meal purchases.
Your subsidy is considered part of your income and will be subject to taxes

Micromobility includes a range of small, lightweight vehicles such as bikes, e-scooters, shared bikes, e-bikes and e-mopeds designed for individual use. The use of these vehicles not only gives commuters more freedom, but also reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Whether you’re looking for a greener way to commute or need help connecting to the first or last mile, micromobility is a great commuting option.

You can use your prepaid card to pay for purchases and repairs at bike shops as well as bike sharing, e-scooter rentals and e-moped rentals.

You can use your prepaid card to pay for meals, snacks and beverages during your workday at the eatery of your choice. Your card is widely accepted at local eateries and restaurants where Debit Mastercard is accepted, offering you the variety to choose your favorite place to eat.

How do I activate my prepaid card?

You can activate your prepaid card online at https://www.card.commuterbenefits.com/.

What should I do if my new prepaid card did not arrive in the mail?

Please allow 7-10 calendar days for your prepaid card to arrive in the mail. Please verify accuracy of your mailing address online at https://login.edenredbenefits.com and go to your profile page.

How to I check the balance of my prepaid card?

Log into your account at www.login.edenredbenefits.com. On the side menu, select Card Management. Your card balance is displayed under “Your Current Card”.

Does the unused monthly balance on my prepaid card roll over into the next month?

Yes. Any unused balance on your prepaid card will automatically roll over into the next month. There is no action required for automatic rollovers.

What is the maximum limit I can accumulate on my prepaid card?

The maximum card limit is set at $1,200.00 USD.

What should I do if my card was not accepted at a merchant?

If you checked that your card has sufficient balance and has not expired, please contact our customer support line at 888.850.1788 so we can investigate the issue. If the card is defective, you will need to get a replacement card.

What happens with my prepaid card if I leave my employer?

The funds on the card will be returned to your employer.

Getting Started

Go to www.login.edenredbenefits.com and register for an account if you have not already registered
Once registered, log in and click on ‘Enroll in your subsidized benefit now’
Enter your mailing address and date of birth (required for card activation)
Once you have successfully enrolled, your card will arrive in the mail within 7-10 business days
