Commuter benefits help you pay for your commute to and from work using tax-free dollars, which saves you money on your taxes each year. You can use commuter benefits for transit, vanpools and qualified paid parking. Check your commuter benefits account to determine which options are available under your current commuter benefits program.

How the savings works

As an employee, you can save an average of $800 a year, or more when you set aside $340 a month to pay for your transit commuting expenses. Commuter benefits apply to public transportation, vanpools and qualified paid parking.

If you forgot your username:

  • Often times your username will be set to your company email address, or you may have customized the username to use a personal email address or username.
  • If you cannot remember your username, click on the Forgot Username link on the login page, and we will send you an email with your username.

If you forgot your password:

  • Reset your password by following the Forgot Your Password link on the login page.
  • Make sure you're going through the correct pathway - some companies have SSO login, which means you won't have a username and password for login. If you believe your company uses SSO, check with your employer for the correct login pathway.

How can I contact customer service?

The best way to contact customer service is to log into your account to be sure you are provided with the correct phone number for your company, since not all companies dial into the same number.

How do I manage my Edenred commuter benefits card?

If your company offers the Edenred commuter benefits card, you can manage it easily through your online account or mobile app. For more details about the card, and more detailed FAQs, visit the commuter card page.

Does Edenred offer a mobile app?

How do I set up mobile wallet?

You can set up mobile wallet by:

  1. Logging into your commuter benefits account and going to the card page

  2. Once on the card page, navigate to the Mobile Wallet section and enter your information

  3. Next, go to your mobile device and add your Edenred card to your smartphone’s mobile wallet according to the instructions for your specific device

What expenses are not eligible?

Pre-tax expenses that are not eligible include biking, tolls, taxis, gas/fuel, mileage, business trip costs, airport parking fees and residential parking fees.

Am I entitled to a refund?

Per the Internal Revenue Service, pre-tax funds are only for use with the Commuter Benefits program, and are not allowed to be refunded to you.

Your company may allow post-tax refunds by request.
